Hello everyone.  My name is Chris.  I have a wife and a son and we live in the Atlanta area.

Who am I? Well, I am a child of God, a husband and a father. That is in its order.

I like the term child of God for the very reason that like a child, I still need discipline. I can be disobedient, childish and make my share of mistakes. God does discipline and like the child that gets disciplined, I don’t necessarily like it. I do understand it. After all, I’m still leaning.

Being a husband has been the most exciting thing in my life.  I have crossed that threshold where I have been married more years to the same person than the years before marriage. It’s a fantastic journey that keeps me on my toes. I can say in confidence, it is not always easy, but it is completely worth it.

Fatherhood is the newest part of my life. I just have one child and still consider myself a novice parent. I figure that by the time I have this figured out, I’ll be a grandfather. If I am honest, maybe not then. But I am learning.
